Town of Estancia is accepting applications for the position of Deputy Clerk
Desired minimum qualifications – Graduation from an accredited four year college or university with a degree in public administration, business management or closely related field, or a minimum of three years’ experience in government administration. Considerable knowledge of modern policies and practices of public administration, municipal finance, public works, and community development. Skill in assisting in the preparation and administration of municipal budgets and payroll. Ability to prepare and analyze comprehensive reports, ability to carry our assigned projects to their completion, and ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing. The ability to speak Spanish is preferable. Must be willing to participate in Municipal Clerk’s Certification Program.
