SOLID WASTE SERVICES

The Town of Estancia provides residential and commercial garbage pickup by a contracted private hauler.  Services include curbside pickup of roll-out carts, dumpsters in various sizes, and large item pickup. 

RECYCLING SERVICES

Estancia residents can drop off recycling items at no charge at the EVSWA Central Collection Station, located on north 9th Street.  Items accepted include:

• Cardboard
• Mixed paper
• Aluminum cans
• Tin cans
• Plastic #1 bottles with a neck
• Plastic #2 bottles with a neck
• Scrap metal
• Electronic waste
• Used motor oil
• Car batteries

BULKY ITEMS & YARD CLEANUP

Estancia residents can drop off bulky items, furniture, appliances, and yard cleanup at the EVSWA Central Collection Station, located on north 9th Street.  Pre-paid disposal tickets can be purchased at City Hall and Gustin’s Hardware.  The fee is $5 per cubic yard of material.

REGIONAL LANDFILL

Large loads of 10 cubic yards or more and dead animals can be taken directly to the Estancia Valley Regional Landfill, off I-40 Exit 203. Hours and directions are online at torrancecountynm.org
