The Town of Estancia is seeking a volunteer to represent the town and the larger community on the EMWT Regional Water Association board. Owned by the municipalities of Estancia, Moriarty, and Willard, and Torrance County, the association's mission is to supply safe water to

the Estancia Valley by implementing a regional water distribution system, protecting groundwater resources, and keeping the water in the valley.

Applicants must live in the Estancia area and commit to attending the regular meetings of the association.

Applicants with experience in relevant matters and understanding of the valley's water issues are encouraged to submit a Letter of Interest to the Town of Estancia Board of Trustees by February 16, 2023. Letters of Interest can be dropped off at the Estancia Town Hall, which is located at 513 Williams St. Estancia NM 87016 or mailed to Town of Estancia, PO Box 166, Estancia NM 87016, or emailed to Mjones@ townofestancia.com.
