Old Timers Day - July 28

 ALL CLASS REUNION, July 28, 3 p.m. For inquiries, contact Bernadine Dial at 505-384-2833 or Gloria Pohl at 505-384-2377. Please join in for a general meeting and a barbeque at the Torrance County Fair Building.

Parade: Line up at 10 a.m., Parade at 11 a.m.

Barbeque: 11 a.m. at the Torrance County Fairgrounds--$6/plate

Youth rodeo: Entries taken at 8-9 a.m., CASH ONLY, Rodeo at 10 a.m.

Old Timer's Day Dance: 8 p.m. until Midnight, At the fairgrounds with DJ Corey Plant

The Estancia Swimming Pool will be OPEN 2-6 p.m.

Music:

Juniper Hill Band               11:00am to 1:00pm

Clay Mac Band                   1:00pm to 4:30pm

Tumbleweeds                   4:30pm to 7:00pm

 Horseshoe Tournament:

Registration: 12:00pm to 1:00pm

Tournament to begin shortly thereafter  Cost: $20/team

 Volleyball Tournament:

Registration 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm

2 females must be on the court playing at all times. 

Cost: $60/team--All proceeds go to help fund park events

At the Library

Van of Enchantment 11 a.m. - 5 p.m.-A museum on wheels, the Van of Enchantment is a converted RV that tours New Mexico carrying artifacts and materials from the state museums and monuments. The Van of Enchantment brings its contents to life with dynamic activities designed carefully for each event. There is never an admission fee for the Van of Enchantment.

On display: A History of Women in the Estancia Valley --spotlighting Ms. Maria Brito and Mrs. A.H. Garnett.
